Pre-planning and Pre-payment are two separate services we offer at D’Arienzo Funeral Home, Inc. Pre-planning consists of a conference with one of our licensed funeral directors who will guide you in selecting the funeral service and disposition you prefer. The reasons for pre-planning a funeral vary, from an impending need for such services, to seeking an estimate on funeral costs. NY State law mandates that a funeral home cannot charge a consumer for such information. We at D’Arienzo Funeral Home, Inc. welcome all inquiries and we will be happy to give you answers to any of your questions regarding our pre-planning process. Pre-payment consists of depositing money into a third party trust allowing for payment of future funeral services. Reasons for pre-payment vary from removing the financial burden from your survivors to Medicaid acceptance. Pre-payment is regulated by the State of New York Department of Health and the third party trust we use is regulated by the New York Directors Association. Again, any and all inquiries are welcome.
